Marc Stein, ESPN.com, you sir are IGNORANT

Like many of us in Canada, we all are hoping and praying that Chris Bosh re-signs with the Raptors. I mean he's the face of the franchise and achieved more then anyone in the history of the Raptors. With that being said, there is much doubt on his stance on staying in Toronto, or leaving for bigger cash. YES the team(Raptors) had a very mediocre season...However, it was a matter of injury and chemistry. Chemistry has to be built with time, NOT within ONE YEAR. Look at the Bulls, the Cavs, even the Spurs. To achieve greatness you have to work at it and keep learning and growing, not erasing because one thing went wrong. Yes, it may mean Brian Colangello's job which may be the reason there's more emphasis on the Raptors' mediocre season but that doesn't mean you change good growing mentality. Even IF Colangello trades Bosh, he will forever be scrutinized for doing so. We'll judge it in the same way we did when Vince Carter was booted out of T-O...Toronto received Alonzo Mourning (who never showed up in Toronto), Eric Williams, and Aaron Williams. While in New Jersey, Vince Carter's averages were; 22.9 PTS, 5.7 RPG, 4.7 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.5 BPG, and 2.66 TO. On the other hand, we have the two Williams' that were nothing comparable. Their total averages in Toronto were; 3.9 PTS, 2.2 RPG, 0.7 APG, 0.3 SPG, 0.1 BPG, and 1.33 TO. Now who won in that trade? Obviously New Jersey. With that proof, that has to be in the tops list of all time for stupid trades. With all these facts, I now get to my point. Many articles have been based on Chris Bosh's decision come this July and as a Raptors and Chris Bosh fan, I naturally read an article from ESPN.com. Marc Stein, a reputable sports writer, recently wrote in an article..."Bosh loves life in Toronto far more then most of us south of the border believe." That, Marc Stein, was incredibly ignorant of you to say. Toronto's a WORLD mecca, not just a city. It has endless amounts of culture, one of the most cultured cities in the world. I have no idea why you wrote that, I mean you're basically discounting Toronto due to your own ridiculous and embarrassing view on the city. Yes, it was an article about Chris Bosh but the way you manufactured that statement made it seem as if you were attempting to sway Bosh away from Toronto based on the belief the article would impact the superstar's decision. It's pretty sad to see sports writers including such utter filth in their pieces. I enjoy my articles and hearsay but give us the readers all a break. Maybe you need to go on vacation and get your mind straight, articles like those are simply pathetic.

New "Next Generation" Coke Bottles

With the new eco-friendly world always changing, another company has stepped up to the plate to do their part to helping the environment. The Coca Cola Company has now released photos of eco-friendly bottles made from plants. This is similar to what Sun Chips did with their plant made bags. The bottles are stackable and look pretty futuristic and fresh in my opinion....What's surprising is that Coke has been known for the shape of their bottle, even trademarked it. I'm surprised they decided to choose another direction as they had a huge emphasis on their bottle design. I am very much pleased on the circumstances though. I mean if they were polluting our environment from their bottles and now trying to reverse it, that says something about their company, right? Big ups on making an effort to making our earth more FRESH. Credit and thanks to the305.com for the link on the article....the305.com is always full of dope content.

NBA Playoffs and Joakim Noah

I never understood why people who want attention go to such great lengths to impress others. Joakim Noah's a perfect example. He's a decent player however wants the glory of a superstar player. Mind you, his numbers in this postseason are impressive, he's still not leading his team in such a manner as a mature young adult should and lead by example, leaving his game do the talking. I have more respect for Lebron James for his attitude and conduct on and off the court rather then his incredible play. His play is exciting and has NBA fans in the peak of basketballs offerings but his off court example is what impacts the most. Every basketball fan should be interested in basketball now more then ever. Young players need to see quiet and humble players with their own swagger mind you. In Joakim Noah's case, he really just needed to piss off the Cavaliers players on the court rather then talking to the media. I say the Cavs take game 4 and 5 and teach the Bulls that they need to grow up still to roll with the big dogs.

Avatar

Today the movie Avatar was released. My take on the movie after seeing it in theatres was that it was a solid movie and great artwork/cgi. Storyline wasn't what I thought it was going to be but the overall look of the movie made up for it. I was most impressed with the level of creativity and realism, I mean I felt like I could relate to these avatar people, like they existed. Overall, I feel that it's a classic movie to have in your movie collection, the box office numbers reflected this opinion.I'd like to post a picture I just made for the dvd/blu-ray release of Avatar, more work will be posted later. GO GET THIS BEAST OF A MOVIE

The Intro

I wanted to start this blog off right with a pic I made of Drake. It's fitting that greatness embraces this young blogging journey and seeing as I'm from Canada and I'm incredibly proud of Drake and to say I'm Canadian. Drake put Canada on the music and arts map, paving opportunities where opportunities originally didn't exist. I will always support Drake. Great inspiration comes from this dude through his lyrics, hopefully my future posts reflect that on a similar level or that in which I'd like to achieve. I'd like feedback as well, message me if you'd like to collaborate on some art or fashion. I appreciate each individual's time that they spend reading and replying to my posts. Every day I'll be posting a fresh new image as well as supporting current events and everything simply
